The Lakes International Comic Art Festival

The Lakes International Comic Arts Festival (LICAF) is delighted to announce the dates of its next annual event, which will take place in Kendal from Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th October 2026.

From 2026, it will centre its annual event on the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal, with elements taking place in other venues around the popular market town, including Kendal Town Hall, Cross Lane Projects Gallery, and businesses across the Town.

The 2026 Festival will again bring the best artists and creators to the Lake District and explore the potential and power of comics as a force for good and creative endeavour, in the UK, and through continued international partnerships.
