April 17th – 18th Kendal Folk, Jazz and Blues Festival. Bands playing in the Elsewhere Bar and The Principal on Friday Evening, In the Marketplace and the Birdcage between 10am and 5.30pm on Saturday and at the Principal, The Elsewhere bar, The Venue and the Clocktower on Saturday evening.

July 22nd – Bounce Fest. Big inflatables for kids at Kendal Rugby Club

July 25th, Kendal Family Festival. With family friendly activities at Stramongate School and venues throughout the town.

September 4th – 5th Kendal Music Festival. The return of our ever popular music festival, with bands playing in the Marketplace, the Birdcage and many of the bars in town.

October 2nd to 4th – Comic Arts Festival. Celebrating the unique artform of comics

November 5th to 7th – Stout Wars. with a lot more than just Guinness on offer

November 19th to 22nd – Kendal Mountain Festival. A celebration of outdoor culture, adventure and film.

November 27th – The Christmas Lights switch on. 

December 3rd & 4th The Whisky Festival. Hundreds of whiskys’ to try.

December 6th – Kendal Christmas Market. It is growing year on year. With a wonderful array of gifts and crafts.
