The Kendal BID team

The Kendal BID team is made up of unpaid volunteer directors who want to do something good for the town alongside a part time BID manager who is employed to deliver the BID services set out by the board. All the BID directors come from local businesses in our town and come from a diverse range of sectors including, retail, hospitality, professional services and healthcare.

Lee is a solicitor and partner at Arnold Greenwood. He brings a wealth of legal experience and will be taking over from Richard Moore with legal advice for the Board

Helen represents the Town council. She has been a counciller for several years and is also a solicitor.

Rory is a Operations Manager for Westmorland Shopping Centre and represents large retailers

Nick sits on the Board as a representative of Kendal Futures. He has many years experience in the business sector and was previously a Town Centre Manager

Kendal Futures representative

Denise represents professional services. She owns Ruby Tuesdays hair salon and is a senior lecturer at Kendal College. Denise brings valuable governance and board expertise to the BID team.

Chair

Kim represents small businesses. She is the owner of the Bristly Hog in Stricklandgate. The Bristly Hog is a successful café, bistro set over two floors.

Nigel is the owner of a independent furniture retailer and represents independent retailers
